So after 3 days I finally finished watching Silent Hill Downpour. Firstly, I have to admit this game went above and beyond my expectations. Seriously, I had set the bar pretty low because frankly Silent Hill Homecoming was absolutely horrible and an embarrasment to the franchise (sorry anyone who liked that game) and I thought that the Silent Hill

I'm glad you got around to watching it. I agree with you, it was probably the best of all the non-Japanese made ones and I don't think it was deserving of all those really horrible reviews it got. Pretty much I liked to too, I just wish it had been a little less jump scary and more mentally scary.

Yeah, that's the only thing the American (and European) production staffs tend to fall back on is the jump scares. I think Japan is just so much better with the psycho horror because traditionally most of their scary movies don't really jump scare.
