Resident Evil Part duex
So I was finally able to finish watching Leon's game for Resident Evil 6. Some of my rage has subsided, but all in all I'll say the game started off good but just ended up a cliche'd mess. Seriously the boss fight at the end just would not end and Ada popping up out of the blue every five minutes was....well just Ada.
I will say I liked the rocket launcher touch at the end (which I do believe they didn't use at the end of Res 5) and I did like the monster designs and the fact that real zombies were used this time. After initially getting over my rage at how women were portrayed in this game (really dull and stupid) I will admit the action sequences were fun and Leon is a total bad-ass (I still love Leon so much!).
But then I tried to watch Chris' game....oh how I tried to watch his game. aachannoichi had warned me that his game was awful and Oh my God is it awful. I really couldn't get more than 40 minutes into the game before I became bored stiffless. Seriously it was just as I predicted. Gears of War/Call of Duty clone, which would have been tolerable if it just weren't so dang boring....ugh. But thankfully I had zero expectations for Chris' game so they were met and I just went to the end of the game to see how it ended.
Now all I have to do if watch Jake's game and I will finish Resident Evil 6. I'm actually glad I did not buy it afterall, I was really temped to, but after watching it online I know I would just get crazy frustrated with it's vapid stupidity.
