This is what I've been doing instead of making icons. Major amounts of credit and love go to timeturner for the code this is heavily based off of.

I guess the theme is called "Lithium Flower" (that's what I'm calling it on my site, anyway.) It's pink and purple and features Motoko Kusanagi. (I am obsessed with her after all.

I'm going to be shifting at some point soon from my present layout, a slightly-customized Boxer intended to be reminiscent of the film Equilibrium, to a very heavily-customized Boxer made by illgoest, the theme of which will be Ghost in the Shell. I hadn't intended to use GitS as a layout theme, but a short series of events convinced me I should. Awhile back I went on a lark and made a simple manipulation of myself dropped into a GitS:SAC wallpaper I downloaded. Shortly thereafter as a birthday present my dear friend roniliquidity took that image and illustrated over me, turning me into an anime character. The image in the last link is perfect for a header, so I'm going to use it as the basis for my new layout. :)

:D Sounds awesome. I personally love Generator to death; my last layout was a somewhat modified Generator based off my Xanga, with a theme of pastels and flower petals. (It's actually around for posterity's sake here at kawaii_no_icons until Cat decides otherwise.)

Nevertheless, that is one cool banner. :D

I actually couldn't care less what out layout looks like. xD Just as long as I have an outlet for my icons, it's all good. Go for it. xD
