I didn't see/hear the speeches at all, but I was on CNN until it was OFFICIAL. It made me excited. It was like this enormous sense of relief, almost, feeling like.. hey, things are going to get better now.
I heard the other day that the newspapers (like NYTrib and stuff) from Nov 5th are worth a few hundred dollars now, with the Obama article. Imagine what they'll be worth when we're grown.. It was a very proud moment in history, I think. I felt better about America-- and Utah! Utah was a red state, of course, but Salt Lake County voted Obama by like 20k votes. That's a big step. Obama was also at like 37%, which is like 12% more than any other democrat in decades. Cool huh?
