*pout* longest crappiest day at work *ever*
aaaaaaaaaaargh! Stupid Mondays. Stupid Mondays where no one goes shopping. 8 hour shift. 8 hours. 8 hours where a grand total of maybe 25 people came into the store. Nobody actually wanted anything, just to play with makeup. Three full makeovers, omgIloveit!I'llcomebacktomorrow. Had a couple 'comebacktomorrow's from yesterday come back today. To return stuff. Returns = bad. Am now $150 behind for the week. Joy.
New rules at work. New rules = stupid. I'm sorry, I'm not going to leave the person I'm talking to (person A) in order to help a new person (person B) find someone else to talk to. It's incredibly rude to person A to stop helping, however momentarily, to go help someone else. Don't care. Ain't gonna do it. So there. :P
Evidently I got "shopped" back in November. Got a B for not greeting with a non-business opening line and not showing a promo item. Was shopped on Nov. 15th. Would like to point out that I started work on Nov. 7th, was given no training other than "oh, I'm sure you remember everything." Grr.

Was slightly mollified by unexpected playing of "Kokomo" by Beach Boys on the way home. Experiencing return of tropical fantasy (is a bit early. Usually waits until particularly cold rainy days in February)
