Alright, let's wrap it up this time...
Sunday:
So admittedly, after the full day of Saturday, Sunday was a bit of a late start. Not overly much, but again, later than we anticipated. Took the boat(!) to Magic Kingdom in the morning. We hit a couple rides, but the atmosphere in the park seemed a little heavy. Too many people trying to do too many things in too much of a hurry. Neither one of us were really reluctant to leave for our lunch reservation at Epcot. The only problem with said reservation? The monorail. We managed to get the gimpy one. Took forever to get there, so we were a half-hour late. We called, though, so they were still expecting us. No problem getting a table.
Lunch was tons of fun. We did a character lunch at The Garden Grill at The Land in Epcot. Chip and Dale were a little scarce, but Pluto played with us a good bit, and I think I might be engaged to Mickey Mouse at this point. I was still wearing the Minnie Mouse ears, so when he came around to our table, he made a big fuss and sat down next to me. Gave me a hug and wiggled his nose for an eskimo kiss. After that, every time he passed the table, he made a fuss. Even snuck up from behind and leaned over the wall of the top tier of the restaurant to wiggle his nose at me again. We got a couple of adorable pics. The lunch was entirely worth it.
After that, neither of us were in a big hurry to go back to Magic Kingdom, esp since they were having Extra Magic Hours that night. Instead, we played at Epcot a little more, did the Pick-A-Pearl at the Japan Pavilion, then took another boat(!) back to MGM. Tried to find Mulch, Sweat and Shears again, but they had the day off (alas). Rode Rockin' Roller Coaster just one more time, and finally headed back to Magic Kingdom as it was starting to get dark. Hit all the rides that we wanted to hit, and in a much better mood than before. Got good seats for both Spectromagic and Wishes. Watched Mickey's Philharmagic a couple times ('cause it really is a fantastic experience.) Got great pictures with Chip, Dale and Alan (Alan being Chip and Dale's slightly sleep-deprived handler. He was hilarious) Chip and Dale took each of us by the arm, and Chip tried to run away with me. Alan reminded him about "Clarisse," and managed to start a fight between the two. It was a blast! Ariel headed back to Pleasure Island, and I stuck around the Magic Kingdom til I couldn't justify hanging out anymore. Rode a couple more rides, went on a hunt for Cinderella's fountain (it's so tiny and back in a little corner. I love searching for it). That was pretty much Sunday.
Monday:
Ah, the last day. We got everything packed up and in the car, then decided to hit Animal Kingdom again. Rykie gave me an extra ticket a few months ago (thanks, Rykie!) and we found out that Ariel could add a day to her ticket for just $4. On the way back from Dinosaur, we ran across a trampoline stunt group called G-Force. They were *amazing*! I've never seen anything like that on a trampoline before. Saw Finding Nemo again, rode Everest again, and managed to get great seats for the Lion King show. If Finding Nemo was Broadway Lite, Lion King was Cirque du Soleil Lite. The acrobatics were fantastic. One of the Tumbler Monkeys turned out to be one of the three folks from G-Force, too. Evidently, they get retired Olympians for roles like that. I could definitely see why. The show was seriously impressive. Got in a little fun show-flirtation with one of the cute stilt-walkers, too. Yay me!
After that, it was way past time to head home, so we got back to the car, ran by the casting center to pick up a little information, then made the long long drive home. I definitely call this trip a win ^_~
And that, ladies and gents, was The Trip.
