So Steve is out seeing "Suckerpunch" with a friend, I am chilling with the dogs. I worked late again today, and I will probably have to go into work early on Monday. Long week is long
I still have one more day to get through, but this week has already been so long. This weekend I think I need to get some work done on my car too-but honestly I think I would be happy to stay home and not go anywhere. Snow is April, wtf?
You read that right, it flippin snowed here today, and it is cold as fuck outside right now. The weather has been pretty crappy in general this year. Late check-in
I have been trying to write in this entry for the last hour. The tv kept distracting me.

New toys
Sunday Steve and I made an investment in our lawn's future in the form of a lawnmower and a leaf blower. The last thing I want to blow my load on is freaking lawn equipment, but it had to be done. Steve and I have a hand-me-down lawnmower, but it is on its last leg. The thing smoke profusely and gives Steve a headache everytime he uses it. So I ( Read more... ) -
Borders
Today Steve and I went to a Borders that is closing its doors in about 8 days. We got some really good deals on books, but it was kind of sad. The employee who rang us up seemed pretty down, and the place was just raveged. They were selling absolutely everything there, from the fixtures to the pictures on the wall. Update on the family stuff
My stepdad is back at home. He came home from the hospital last Thursday and he has been doing a lot better. He is still home this week and will be home next week as well. He has been on oxygen and is hoping to stop using it on Friday. He had pnemonia in both lungs, and it is just taking some time for him to get back on his feet. I haven't ( Read more... ) -

Goings on
Top news of the day was finding out that my step-dad is in the hospital with pnemonia. Both he and my mom have been sick for the past week, and I guess they finally took him in due to his high fever that won't quit. Looks like he will be in there until the fever goes down.
