We went to see Coraline.  It was pretty good.  I liked it anyway.  The theater was pretty much completely packed, but the kids were actually pretty quite.  I was more annoyed watching Twilight with the tweens than I was watching this movie with a much younger set of movie-goers.

I went to a job interview at the offices of Dale Chihuly (www.chihuly.com) on Tuesday.  I was disappointed to find out that I didn't get the position.  They decided to go with someone who had more experience.  It would have been a really cool place to work, but I would have been going into a really stressful situation, so I was conflicted about it ( Read more... )

I saw a teenage girl who lives in my complex walking with a back pack wearing leggings as pants.  I know that Steve would have appreciated the view as it left nothing to the imagination as far as her ass goes.  I found it to be pretty shocking actually.  I guess that makes me sound like an old lady.  It's just that I feel so bad when I see young ( Read more... )

OMG-the recruiter just called and told me they were interested in hiring me!  I really can't believe it.  I told her that there is no way I could entertain the idea of working for people like that.  Can you believe it?  I am really just-floored.

So I went to the interview yesterday and the first guy was an idiot.  He was such a bad interviewer.  He had no open-ended questions and he was real fidgety.  Then the second guy came to interview me.

Yesterday Steve and I took a trip down to Pike's Place Market to look for a new cat hat for Steve.  There is a shop there where they sell these felt hats with large cat ears and Steve has one that is all black, but he wanted one with a different color in the inner part of the ears.  We met the woman who makes the hats and she agreed to do a hat ( Read more... )
