Pump out as many babies as possible before you hit menopause. No education, much less drama school. Stand still, look pretty. Don't have a brain. actually, around that point in time is when some things started changing a lot.

and by "in my element" I was referring only to beauty.

pale was regarded highly. as was the hourglass and dainty wrists/ankles, etc.

as for the other things, yes those were the general decorum.
but please, knowing me? I'd be causing scandal, its true. and frankly my dear, i wouldnt give a damn lol
