Waku Waku Arashi Gakkou 2014 - Screening in Singapore
Today marks the best day of my life so far!
Being able to sit in that theatre and watch a live screening of Arashi's event is a dream come true!
Especially this being a public event and all..
Really a huge load of appreciation for the people who made this possible!! Thank you so much!!!
Even though this was a public screening, it was held with quite a bit of 'secrecy'..
Which means, it was held in a movie theatre where most people would not go to; a neighbourhood where the residents are mostly elderly people.. And it was not an advertised event, the only source of advertising was through Johnny's web via emails to the subscribers. (I'm not too sure about this, though I believe this to be true)
However, the tickets were sold out within 40 minutes of release.
This just shows how much people in Singapore are looking forward to the appearance of their Japanese idols in the midst of the Korean wave which seems to be going on and on without an end in sight. Especially for the much acclaimed group Arashi..
Having been an Arashi fan for so many years.. 12 years in fact, from the days where I was never allowed to buy CDs, or products which my parents deemed 'useless' for a teenager, till this day where I am able to participate in this event with other fans.. I am feeling so privileged and over the moon~
Alright, I am sure that if you by any chance dropped by here, would not want to read all about my obsession with these 5 man, whom I think resemble the sun in my life..
Let's talk about today's screening.
Being held in Shaw plaza, it was difficult to access this place.. However, the staffs of the theatre were nice enough to let us be seated earlier than most movie screenings. It might also be due to the fact that there were a lot of us, and we were blocking the way to the entrance to all the halls. XD
Once inside, of course we were greeted by a picture which resembled a poster of the event. That's when the fangirl/boy in everyone started working! Snap snap snap.. Phones started clicking away..
That was before the person in charge made the devastating announcement.. "No photo taking!" OMG..
Most people were on time. And then it started!!!
I have to say, I have not laughed so hard in such a long time..
All their antics were so funny! Even when they were lame jokes, or when the jokes fell flat...
I have thoroughly enjoyed myself!
Most of the fans present today were quite clear in who their OTPs were.. The group up front were all cheering for Oh-chan, the group to my right were Aiba-chan's fans and those at the back were screaming when Nino made his appearance.. Though, everyone were cheering and screaming whichever 1/5 of Arashi were up front.. Arashi Love ne~
I do hope that there will be more of these kind of events held here in Singapore! Or maybe there will be the possibility of having Arashi throw a concert here in the future? Kyaaa!!
