I can't believe it. In 2 days I'm hopping a plane to Florida to see my long lost boyfriend. I can't express how excited I am. I'm trying to find a hotel room in Pensacola so Derek and I can stay together Thrursday night. He won't be able to stay in Mobile because he has to be back at the base at like 4 in the morning on Friday and with my plane getting in around 10pm the night before and the travel time back and forth, he would end up getting an hour of sleep. And we're driving back the next day. so now that's it's 9 and my phone is free I need to call around.
Derek finally got his orders and is coming back to College Station for a month and a half. After that he's moving to Charleston, South Carolina. He's getting his own apartment so I can come live with him after I graduate. if you're important I'll give you a phone call when we get engaged and another when we get married. :) I think I've decided I don't want a wedding that people come to. Derek laughed when I told him that and said he would go along with whatever I wanted. Josh told me I should sign a prenup because "the people who think they're ready for marriage but aren't" need one. prenups are fine and all, but I don't know how much more ready I could be to take the next step. anyway, this all depends on whether I get a proposal. Erika and I have a running bet on this one. she thinks I'll get a ring by the time Derek leaves TExas but I told her no way. so being the cool people we are, we made a bet. if I win I get to marry Alex (sorry Alex, I couldn't get you any other way) but I don't know what happens if I lose. the joy of being engaged I guess...I still think we should have stuck with a $20 bet.
I need to study for my 2 tests on Thursday but I'll do that later. INFO can bite me. Erika saw firsthand what a joke that class is. AGEC on the other hand will be a challenge. oh well. I don't need sleep, just adrenaline and Dr. Pepper.
Erika and I had fun this weekend. she's propbably going to get shin splints from all the walking I made her do and sue me. :( we had a few near death experiences driving with this one chick to go teach kids about sea turtles, but overall nothing too too exciting happened. we busted out my hitachi magic wand....it was teh awesome. Erika was timid at first, but she opened up to it later on. :) Erika, how does Abby like her big pillows?
My jacket I ordered from QVC (yes I actually buy stuff from QVC. shut up) shipped on Friday. I'm excited about that. I got my hair cut and I'm very pleased with it. I have 11 dollars left of my haircut fund. I think I'll try to make it to Pensacola on that money. 11 bucks will buy me dinner at an airport mcdonalds. did you know the mcdonald's dollar menu isn't really a dollar at ariports? yeah, it pissed me off too. I'm flying out of college station where there are like 2 terminals...maybe 1. the airport is just a big room...nothing yummy to eat there. well, I really should start calling around and then get to studying. wish me luck!
