I'm so sorry that you feel this way. People can be unbelievably hurtful and lack serious empathy when it comes to their comments' consequences.
All you can do is continue on. Things WILL get better. Who cares about them? You've got a great flist and people who truly support you.
You stick it to them by moving on and showing them that it doesn't cripple you. Blah to them! :P
