Movies I've Watched Recently
So Gryphon and I went on a movie binge while she was here over my birthday, and she also gave me a bunch of movies to watch later.
The Incredible Hulk was so much better than I expected! It had it's weak points, certainly, but it was actually really fun and totally worth my time! I highly recommend it to anyone with a free afternoon who wants to spend it with their brain on low. Plus, the Tony Stark cameo made me so happy. You have no idea. A
WALL-E was also amazingly excellent and exceeded my expectations! It literally had nothing wrong with it. There was nothing I wanted to change at all. Yeah, the social commentary was a little blunt, but that didn't make it not totally accurate. This movie is an absolute must-see. A+
Iron Man (again) was just as good as ever. :D Eeeeeeeeeee. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Eeeeeeeee. A
Hellboy This movie really dragged in places, and I ended up skipping to the end about halfway through. *sigh* It's more fun to think about than actually watch. I hope the sequel is good. B-
Ratatouille was such a pleasant experience! Yes, it was sometimes kind of overdone, but overall the art and the pretty and the story were just so sweet and totally lovable! I seriously loved all the little things throughout the film, and I was moved to squees by that restaurant critic's reaction to the ratatouille. Of course he'd love it! His mommy made it for him. Plus, it was nice to see him portrayed as someone who did grow up with a parent who cared about him. Pixar can do no wrong, in my humble opinion. A
