so it's been three years now since i drank. my life and my relationships have changed completely in that time and i can attribute that to the growth and change that comes w/ facing your crap w/o the use of substances. i'm really proud of myself today and very grateful for the relationships which have given me the support and love to get through the

You should be proud of yourself! Obviously I'm not right there with you, so I don't know for sure, but from here it looked like you made a tough decision and stuck with it with no backsliding or anything. You're such a strong and wonderful person, LaVange, I wish I still lived in the same city as you! Whenever I see you, Tyler, Brenna, and Kerenza commenting on each other's fb, etc I think about how strange it is that a small northern Michigan town produced 4 such delightful, kind, and brilliant people. It makes me picture Ludington as the town from Northern Exposure.
