sian... life could be different?
sometimes I feel so cheated of life... or rather my life could have been different if not for the "structured" culture of our society.. I'm not saying its bad. but being too well "structured" cause people afraid to venture further to find more possibility in their lives.. people are afraid to walk the uncertain route stay out of the line...
In shows, you always hear people asking children what they wanna be.. children may not what they wanna be or even turn out that way they wanna be... but there is a room for them to move... good or bad future so be it...
but in our culture, you are not asked what you wanna be. you are TOLD to score A's for exams, go to University, find a job, get married, have kids, take care of ur elders and die old hoping your kids will take care of you. what you wanna do? not important, just get a job that give you a decent pay check. our culture is not designed to explore the possibility of one's future, but to ensure that you can get a job and pay tax.
yes i understand steadily is good. but cant it be a little more? how many ppl is happy/proud with what they are doing now (even if no pay is given)? well, at least for the ppl i know, none. wait mayb 1...
i guess i just feel bored of my life... i think i'm a bit carried away... i just wanna rant about something else... hahaha...
called me a well frog or cave man... I recently just notice about the self checkout system in some countries for supermarkets, etc... well, singapore dont have yet i think... the point is i tot of the self checkout system idea when i was in secondary school (about yr 1999 or 2000) when innovation is the "in thing". My school or rather teacher force us to thing of innovative ideas and we will be graded. I tot of the self checkout system for supermarkets but i was rejected by my teacher saying that the idea is no good and ask me redo... i guess her worry is about the unemployment rate. I'm not sure if the system is already out there in the market yet. but i just feel kinda sian... end up i just randomly submit an idea about teleportation which i obviously got a poor grade for it... the winning idea is about a face washing machine...
oh ya... i remember also tot of the self checkout and returning sorting system for library then... not sure if the system existed then or not... but now yes.. oh another one is trash sorting machine...
well, this also says that i'm a lazy person, easy way of everything... hahaha...
