Here are a few characters I've considered cosplaying. My next con will most likely be in four months (Naka-Kon) unless I go to OhayouCon in January. Comment on any you feel are good. They are not in any particular order.

i think you would make an awesome shaoran !
and i love the SNJ sakura, i remember us talking about it awhile back. us SNJ girls will be at Ohayocon and Acen and i'm sure they'd all love you as an addition to our little troupe.

WOW. My reactions went like this:

"That would be great! Oh how amusing!"
"hmm..."
"Yeah, he'd be able to pull that off"
"Teehee! He wants to do Sukisho! Fabulous!"
"OMG! So cute!!!!! That would be too great!"
"Yay Wolfram!"
"He needs to do that..He's always so excited about it"
"hmm...looks doable...that would look nice"
"Hell yeah, he'd make a great Ishida"
"so difficult...but would be KICK ASS if pulled off well."

So far I really like the sexy no justsu sakura, and Shaoran from Tsubasa Chronicle.

Yeah, I'm not so sure about the LV2 Sasuke. I think it'd be too much work for something I would think is ugly. I like cosplaying pretty or cute things.

YES to all (esp. Ishida) except Lv2 Sasuke. That Sasuke is ugly and I hate him.

I think Hotaru should be your Sakura and I'm fully willing to be Yuuri and/or Sunao, and I'm interested in the furry group--I'd like to see some Damekko Doubutsu first, though. Oh, and for Wolfram, to be easier and differ from FMA cosplay, you could do the green shirt look when they go out in public disguised.

Actually, I had Hotaru in mind the whole time for Sakura. She has the perfect build for it. Too bad she doesn't like CLAMP. Maybe I can tempt her with the shiny metal things that she wears around the bottom of the dress.

You being Sunao would be PERFECT! That'd be a lot of fun. Also, you have to see Damekko Doubutsu. I think you'd be great for the chain-smoking bunny.

You gonna make me work, boy! Let's start at the beginning.

Lv. 2 Sasuke. There is absolutly nothing wrong with cosplaying the same character twice. Or ten times. If you actually like the character, relate to the character, enjoy the wearing the costume, or etc, then you shouldn't have a problem with this. I personally plan to cosplay everything Hinata wears from the new Time-Skip outfit to the high collared teal top she wears after she is injured in the exam to the Ryuusei swimsuit to the Go!! kimono. I have already cosplayed Mizuno Ami/Sailor Mercury in at least five forms and am buying shoes online next week to add another one to the list. I would actually suggest tackling his black outfit first and working through the variations of both before going after this form. It would, as you noticed, take a lot of time, effort, and money. One of the most rewarding things about cosplay is that feeling of tackling and conquering a seemingly impossible costume piece and I think from reading that last line that you know that. All very good sugestions. Thank you.

- I will have to check about the Sora wig.

- The Uruno costume would be cheaper only becuase the animal costumes at a KC costume shop are $200-$300. Even though it wouldn't be flattering, it would be so cute. But the main drawback is that everyone would just think I'm a wolf if I didn't have other characters to where they think we may be from a show.

Ishida. HELL YES! *cough* Actually, we also had the same idea and I kind of agree with her sentiment. I think it seems such a natural transition to all of us because Ishida is voiced by the same actor as Sasuke. I have all of Bleach burned on discs and sitting on a nice independant spindle on my floor right now. Next time you stop by to see Nova I could loan it to you if you wanted. Or, you could read the manga to get a better idea of his character. He has more than one bow and a growing backstory. He's sadly heading in the way of Sasuke in the latest chapters... But only a little, he could still redeem himself. I adore Ishida because he is the biggest dork. Him and his constant nerdy sewing (and pseudo-cosplay tendencies) remind me of my dorky crew here. We have Bleach cosplay planned ourselves. Hotaru is working on an Inoue Orihime costume and I'm working on a costume for the leader of her flower warriors. It would be awesome to have more Bleach cosplayers in the area.

Planning on Bleach cosplay, huh? I'll have to check out the manga to get more of his character, but from what you've said it would be a nice transition character.

I think I'd like to not do Shannon b/c I want to save that until I'm a lot better at sewing and general costume knowledge. I hope to get a lot better during break and make costumes for the upcoming cons.
