So, the job is going okay. I am still "training" technically but not really. My first week was more observation with my boss. But I have done all of the evaluations, which is about two per day since I started. Since then I've been seeing people on my own, I just don't have quite a full schedule. ha! we are students for life. . .it is true.

my advice: just think of your job as a one-year experiment! you'll try it out, see how you like it, and 12 months from now you and Jon can sit down and decide if you're happy, what other options are, where you might want to go, etc. It makes things a lot easier to handle than thinking "I'm going to do this for the rest of my life!"

also you should fully enjoy all the free time you don't have in school. join a book club or take an evening class, once you get settled into your work schedule. these are the things I dream of while in school :)

Glad to hear you are comfortable at your job. Miss you! I have already started applying places for a new career. I hate that thought of feeling dread every single workday the rest of my life. Hopefully you will find a job you really like or at least can tolerate so you can go do things outside of work that you love doing.
