T__T That IS sad. There's just so much to see, we were gobsmacked. I mean, I know it's like any place, two weeks isn't enough... But seriously, so much. I may be looking up more grad schools there. XD;;
I'm going to Germany next semester. For, like, six months! I'm really excited. (Because now I'm a German major. Psychology > English > German. I swear, it really does make sense. To me.)
But I'm also afraid that my host family will be cannibals or something. (Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm very open-minded, you know.) And talking in only German will be hard. Maybe I'll just try to communicate through interpretive dance?
In other news... I'm trying very hard to track down every single steampunk anime and movie ever. It's not been easy. Don't even get me started on the books. I'm not even sure that they exist.
Ooohh, Germany! *___* SO LUCKY. Have so much fun! Studying abroad can be hard work, but it's absolutely amazing and you'll never forget it. (Hey, I've seen weirder tracks of study. I approve of all of them. Very cool.)
Don't worry, the host family should be all right - different, but all right. My experience was a great one. Our host mom kept feeding us too much, though. T_T My poor tummy. But yeah, if they're cannibals, just look at it as a learning experience. >.>
Plus, if it's anything like my program, if you have any issues about them or qualms, you can ask to switch. They're pretty easy going about that.
... Interpretative dance is a go! 8D
(Steampunk looks so cool, but I know so little about it. Recs? ♥ )
I MISSED YOU, TOO. T___T I WILL NEVER STAY AWAY AGAIN. *cling*
I had a huge blast! :D I-I actually didn't want to leave, but... I'm pretty sure sooner or later I would've been hunted down by the border patrol and made to cross again. Er.
But Canada is so amazing, of course people want to come! X3 The food is amazing, the people are super nice, the history is rich... Very tempted to move there. XD;;
I didn't get to stand on the glass floor (snap!), but I did go to see Niagara Falls. :D I spent most of my time in Quebec City and Montreal, plus another day in Ottawa. I only got to stay two days in Toronto and one of them was Thanksgiving, so not much happened.

I seriously didn't want to leave. We went from Toronto to Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City, and just... gaaah. Want to live there so badly. So badly.
