I hope it's not too weird for me to post a comment about something you wrote twelve years ago. I'm in the midst of re-watching Homicide, and started looking for Pembleton/Bayliss fanfic.

I've read all of your Pembleton/Bayliss fic and I love all of them, but this one in particular just really got me in the feels. It's something about it being completely canon-compliant but letting them find some measure of happiness together. (The movie just absolutely gutted me.)

Also this is just beautiful, evocative prose:

The time between then and now was like an empty space. He couldn’t reconcile that tenderness with his sudden absence. It was like Frank had jumped forward in time and only now Tim was catching up to him. They were on the same track but at any moment they might skew apart again.

Would you consider posting your stuff on Ao3, in case livejournal abruptly disappears? It seems like a lot of H:LOTS fanfic has been lost.
