My piece (De)composition was chosen as a winner in the AAUW writing contest, so that's exciting. It'll be in an anthology with the rest of the winning pieces, and my family and I get to go to some reception where I have to read it in front of a bunch of people

AAUW is fun...my stuff got chosen 3 years in a row from Cassel, Staley, and Kinsey. I think I got a scholarship from them, too, so it's a good thing you won it senior year--some money might be coming your way from AAUW!
