So, I finally finished reading the FMA manga/have been rereading large chunks of it, and two things:

1. Fullmetal Alchemist is so beautifully constructed it makes me want to weep2. I love almost all of the characters in this manga, but most especially The Ladies. (Winry is my homegirl, and I have a major girlboner for Olivier. For example.) Like,

Hee, one of my favorite small things from the manga is in the flashback where little Ed and Al are talking about alchemy during class instead of paying attention, and there's a panel showing Winry has fallen asleep at her desk. Because she is just as smart and just as bored by school as the Elric boys.
