The rest of the shoot went off without a hitch just as Jinki had planned, but what he didn’t plan on was he palpable sensation of heat crawling up the back of his neck whenever the other model stood near him, the aching need to feel his tall warm body pressed to his once again.

Bold, strong, and yet still subtle. How do you do it? *slaps a gold star on that line*

The thing I love most about this fic is that it's so clean; the way you pick and choose your words makes it feel like a verbal representation of the formulaic use of black, white, and grey in that shoot. I probably make no sense but I swear it sounded right in my head.

Yes, stuff like this is why I think the day I asked you to beta was the best literary decision of my life. No joke.

*takes gold star and dances around* I actually got the idea to use sparse imagery from Ellie. That's kind of what she did in the original version. I'm glad it worked, I was hoping I wasn't being too vague... Thank you!!!

did not realize the presence of the others because...you know...onho sucks me in...

Jinki is sooo serious...lolo~but i feel like he has this great seriousness within him that he never lets the public see..you know?out of all the members...i think it would be jinki who is most...err...pensive?like really deep :P

and minho...he's just so different now.

His energy was silent, strong and thoughtful~

I'm glad you liked it. I kind of see Jinki as that way too. Always smiling for the cameras, but he did an interview last year where he sounded so serious! Thanks for reading and commenting!

Sorry I didn't comment last night, my brain was fuzzy for some reason. Oh it might be the fic that made my brain fuzzy, yay I can blame it on you :D This...is ... like pictures in black and white...or, shutter clicks. Each one beautiful and complete just in that second.

Click. He’s beautiful isn’t he?” The lanky makeup artist said as he removed Jinki’s shades, looking at him with a knowing smirk in the mirror.

Click. “Come with me.”

Click. Mission accomplished.

Click. By the time the shot was finished, the young man was gone.

Click. “You’re old enough to work here?”

“Apparently.”

And then it becomes, click, click, click on speed shutter.

10 minutes later Jinki was straddling said young man in the back of a cab ( ... )

OMG Susan I'm speechless. First, because you're such an awesome writer, so your compliment is HUGE. Second, because I know you don't even like TofuHo as an OTP, so the fact that you still liked this fic is even more HUGE. Third, because you and Tiff made the same comment about the fic feeling like black and white snapshots. I didn't intentionally set out to create that theme, but I'm fascinated that you and Tiff came to the same conclusion. Re-reading it with that in mind, I saw what you meant and I think because I watched the video of the photoshoot a few times, not to mention re-reading ellie's original brilliant version. (It was extremely visceral) I can't thank you enough for your comments!

Bah, I am in the company of most excellent writer like you, dear *hug* Plus, even though not my pairing, i would read probably anything if you or tiff or jenn or jams was writing it. I'm just like that.

*huggles* I think the pacing was maybe affected by the photoshoot itself and I think that's very cool

I ♥ this story ;) it was hot and not too detailed (recently people write smut too detailed -.-) and just awwww. and Jinki smoking is just ... sex.

Now see, you're the second person who's mentioned that they like the less-detailed smut. (argh mentioned it in an above comment.) I did not realize that that was a turn off to some people. I'm glad you liked this though, I'll try to write more "implied smut" in the future. And yes, the smoking thing actually was in ellie's original fic, and was her lovely idea. Thanks for commenting!

no it's not necessarily a turn off, but when the story is not pure pwp it fits better when the smut is less detailed XD
