Bioshock's really that good huh? Heard my ex-boss finished it already and wouldn't shut up about it. If only my eyes could take it... not to mention I've got Eternal Sonata and Master Chief hitting the following weeks.
I'm just into Golden Week in Persona 3, wondering how my char'll spend his vacation time-playing his video game, singing Karaoke, or studying? Or maybe more forays into Shadow hunting? :)
Hell yeah, Bioshock is all that good. Though I'll admit that some of its actual gameplay mechanics aren't the ultimate answer to life, the universe and everything as some overenthusiastic previews have gushed about, the way the everything comes together makes it the latest great argument for videogames as art (the PC's brainier Shadow of the Colossus?), and intelligent art as that. Just look at all the philosophical discussions its started on the objectivism forums, and how lit classes in the big universities are already studying its narrative. Oh, and its story is an easy rival to the best plots not just in games, but in written work in general(don't let ANYONE spoil you. The Potter series ain't got nothin' on the twists and shockers they've managed to weave into this one).
Bea! I miss you. Which show did your friend see? Gosh, the last one wasn't all that great I think... I bombed a certain game, as I recall. But hey, by all means we perform Tuesdays at the fort and Thursdays at magnet katipunan :) not this coming thursday though, as its all girl's night :)
