So just to give you an idea of how temporary living at my parents was supposed to be... I never unpacked the majority of my boxes from moving. Most of my boxes are books, as anyone who helped me move can begrudgingly attest. last time i did that (i did it all online this year, i hope... i'm still waiting for approval....) i got a free yoohoo kerchief. (i could have gotten free yoohoo, except i didn't want to die.) there were also free 5 minute massages. fun times.

My entire family is one big group of Howard-Gardner-style spatial thinkers (hense my thesis) and the anual search-for-the-feminist-haggada-in-the-piles is as much a ritual as the orange on the sadar plate and having bitter arguments about past wrong-doings. This year, I am going to spend it with Wendi's family, who are chronically neat and who wouldn't even THINK of having a random pile of books. I bought them some Passover candies from the black-hat-Jews in Brooklyn to say here's-some-candy-in-exchange-for-you-being-OK-with-me-dating-your-daughter. I hope it works.
