Hello.

My internet is broken at home and I've been a long time away from my journal but I'm tempted back by a stupid meme having been tagged by charlottecooperRULES: Each player of this game starts off with 10 weird things/habits/little known facts about yourself. People who get tagged need to write a blog of their own 10 weird habits/things/little known facts ( Read more... )

I was a xtian as a kid because I lived on born again xtian street and my best friend was the child of bible smugglers. I was in the church from about age 8 to 14. I had a believer's baptism in a swimming pool and regularly spoke in tongues cos everyone did.

Incidentally, the church was also attended by Terry Molloy who played Davros on Dr. Who. I think he was living in B town cos he had a part on the Archers which is recorded at Pebble Mill. I was thinking about him the other day and wondering if he had any ethical dilemma, reconciling his faith with leading the Daleks.

Yes, many times. I checked out http://www.terrymolloy.co.uk/ and it seems he's now norfolk based but still in the archers. He doesn't say if he's still a xtian though or a backsliding heathen like me.

Thanks for doing your 10 things. I can't believe that about your belly button!

You were Paddington Bear? How did that happen? And surely you should have stuck your inky paw in people's autograph books. A stamp seems such a cop out. Did you get to eat marmalade sandwiches? want one now I have typed that.

When I was 10, I was in the chorus of Paddington Bear's Magical Musical. A short lived show in Birmingham's Hippodrome. I still remember some of the lyrics.."Bear-robics, keeping fit is keeping me busy, Bear-robics, keeping fit is making me dizzy"...

I stood in for the actor who played paddington for some of the publicity work because i was the same height as her. I was given loads of marmalade sandwiches but I didn't like them so I just stuffed them inside my giant bear head. They were all mushed up against my face.

I didn't have a say about the stamp thing. It was unpaid child labour actually. Someone should've called social services.

I know they've got a lot of flowers and the plant won't miss the ones I destroy, but when I see the tiny undeveloped inner petals and stamens inside I feel remorse that they won't get a chance to open up. Yes, i know I am mad.
