I agree, the timing is perfect. after all the drama and whatnot, it's really refreshing to see this. It's a bit relieving too, because I was afraid that no one in sj would continue to support zhoumi and henry after eeteuk's little speech.

sungmin was great, i loved him and this story and hope he's even remotely like that in real life.

the end scene with henry was very intense, very real.

Yeah, the whole thing's become kind of touchy, and kind of 'what happens next (especially with how fans will treat zhou mi and henry)' hasn't it?

Okay, so! I think the leader dislike is unfair (though obviously everyone is entitled to their opinions). I disagree with what Leeteuk did too, but I can't blame him for feeling scared and protective of "his" group. I think you did a very good job portraying that - the fact that he's worried and unhappy and unsure, about where he stands or how he should react, about the fact that he's afraid but is letting the fans convince him that his choice is the right one. It's the path of least resistance, and with so much support, it must feel like the right decision. (And I really like the way you worked Kangin's support into this too

Haha, my own personal opinion is that people shouldn't hate him for this, since I also think that he was doing what he honestly considered best for the situation, but, honestly I'm disappointed by him.

They have a far more complicated dynamic because they are idols and have to worry about the management, about fans, about their public image.
I completely agree with that, it's such a complex situation because of all these factors - and all the extent of opinions that're stemmed from the issues, with management and fans and such. It makes it harderfor all of them.

To be honest, I thought this fic might start wank in the comments, but all of the commenters have been lovely - and it felt very much like it should be posted, wether it was a sensitive topic or not.
