it's sad when i'm having troubles remember how to make a 3x7 ad in indesign....

damn me and my arrogance for never wanting to use indesign. anybody know how i can do this? it's due thursday i've just forgotten how to get it the right size and such.

if you're trying to learn indesign, you've just got to jump in and just try it all out. It took me a few days to get the hang of it... and at the end of all of it... it truly is better than Pagemaker. I know that's sacrilage to say lol, but its true.

As for the box:

Pretty much make any size box, there should be a little toolbar on your screen. It will have the standard cooridinates X, Y... W,H. On mine everything is in picas, including the Width and Height. 3 inches= 18 picas, stick that in the W box. 7 inches= 42. that goes in the H box.

This is what ended up in my W: 42p1.197 H: 18p5.648

Hopefully that wasnt too confusing. lol. You can also change the rulers and measure it out. I always hated that. I never get the box quite right that way lol.
