Contractions suck. I'm hoping that these are just Braxton Hicks, because goddamnit I want my Taco Bell. Blake and Amy are bringing me back some from Ramstein because we dog sat this weekend and also because I've been craving it the entire freaking pregnancy

I read your post on MW. What the heck is with the doctors wanting to slice and dice so much? (And wtf is with the episiotomy? If it's your CERVIX they're worried about, why are they cutting your PERINEUM? Forgive my lack of knowledge about these things...)

I'm more than a little freaked out by this, and I really don't like the idea of putting myself in the position of either having medical help available in case of a real need for it, or not having any at all just to avoid being hacked into like a piece of meat.
