just think how much fun con will be next year now that disney has bought marvel.

i can already see spidey-mickey hybrids roaming the floor...

in my opinion, this disney-marvel thing can only go two ways - really well or horribly, horribly awry.

in any case it will be HUGELY entertaining to watch...

I see it as another ploy to make more money. I don't think Disney is going to interfere with Marvel's existing success too much, but rather use it as yet another money-making platform. And, have Spidey as a costumed character at Disneyland.

i hope they don't tinker with it too badly - why mess with a good thing?

however, i AM against having spidey at disneyland. he doesn't belong there. in california adventure - maybe. a marvel cafe in downtown disney - totally! (they used to have one in universal studios and it was for the win.) they would have to be very careful about the cross-pollination of genres...

Yeah, very good point. A Marvel cafe in downtown Disney, with costumed superheros, would be made of win. :)

I did see an article about the Disney licensing people gearing up to sue sellers of Marvel fan-art. *sigh*

lamezor - something like that should be grandfathered in before the date of the merger...
