4. Occupation: currently full time CSM (client service manager) at a shoe store. It's really a glorified title for the only full time cashier and I'm *sort of* in charge of the cash department/part time cashiers. Hehehe...
5. Partner?: Jared. We've known each other since high school, and I used to date one of his friends for years. Then one day we hung out and fell for each other very suddenly :) it's been two and a half years and we've been pretty much inseperable since - and we have lived together for the past year. Not bad for a guy whose longest relationship before me was 6 months (and he likes to say the last 3 were rocky too haha..)
6. Kids: I hope so one day! It's one of the things I definitely want to do with my life is have a family.
7. Brothers/Sisters: I'm an only child!
8. List 3-5 biggest things going on in your life right now:
Life's relatively calm these days... nothing new and big on the horizon, nothing huge in the works right now! And that's just fine with me...
9. Parents: My mom has had chronic and often quite severe back/neck/hip problems most of her life, and so for most of my pre-teen and teenage years didn't work. Before that she worked in a lot of receptionist related jobs. She's a really creative person and one of my best friends, I can talk to my mom about pretty much anything. She's the "friend" mom but not in the irresponsible sense of the word - she's raised me up well!
My dad is someone I'm starting to get to know better now that I'm not living at home anymore over the past year. :) My dad's not nearly as chatty as my mom and I haha but I can tell since I've moved out he's missed me - he's always wanting to talk to me whenever I call the house to tell my mom something. He is a horticulturalist/landscaper for a local municipality.
Both of them are great artists and just recently bought a home business that sells art supplies and does framing and matting!
10. Who are some of your closest friends? I don't count many people as close friends because I find it hard to open up to people a lot of the time. It's something I'd like to work on. I'd say my closest friends, the people I can talk to about just about anything, are my boyfriend, my cousin Eleanor, and my mom. I'm also pretty close with my other roommate (other than my boyfriend) Jamie.
