I don't like it. D: I miss my free time. BUT GOOD NEWS! I didn't have any Hon. Algebra II homework today, and already did my French and Bible History II homework, and only had to study for Civics, so... Free time! Maybe I can read for a while! :D

I don't know what your civics class is like, but here it's a mandatory half-credit course in grade 10 and it's a joke. Our teacher was awful and taught us nothing. No one was prepared for the in-class exam and we all cheated off each other. :B
It's mandatory for 10th grade here, too, but for one full credit, and it's probably no less of a joke. My school in particular doesn't have an honors history program until 11th grade, so honors kids, regular kids, kids who don't care, and kids who don't speak very good English are mixed in with one another, which doesn't work really well. We're learning a lot, but one thing I've learned is that the teacher cares less about how smart you are than about how excited you are. All three of the girls in my group for our podcast are very quiet, so while we had all the information in our presentation, and everything used perfect grammar and spelling, we were reprimanded for not being loud enough, and the rest of our project was literally completely ignored. Then you have the group of girls who had the worst grammar, spelling, and capitalization mistakes I've seen since the sixth grade, and they won 10 points on their test because they were peppy when they spoke. >.< I am not going to enjoy this class if we get graded based on how loud and
