You took a throwaway Eliot line and created such a wonderful backstory and...I don't know how to quite say it, but: I love you.

Your talent with creating a realistic universe out of one line about a woman from Osaka is remarkable. Did you research this o-or went to Japan or what? Because, I honestly can't tell. You're like Nate with your power of knowledge. XD Soy sauce as lube, wow. Like, it's weird and I bet it stings, but it's oddly hot. There's probably something wrong with me thinking like that *shrugs*.

I was once told by a former co-worker that I am a "fount of useless knowledge," and I aim to make it useful. lol

I'm actually an anime girl at heart, and I find all things Japanese interesting. Study abroad in Japan is a goal of mine *finger crossed* So, I have this pent up knowledge of Japanese culture that I need to release, and Eliot went to Japan, so...Seriously, though, different cultures are like my crack. Just weird little factoids I pick up, I hold onto. Never know when they might come in handy.

I am honored by the Nate comparison, and you're prolly right about the soy sauce, but I, too, found it hot, so we can be weird together ;)

Beautiful story! The imagery is wonderful, I could see Eliot's apartment and Nate? Well he's usually in my head anyway!
