this is seriously the best thing my mom has ever said to me. all through school, getting good grades, constantly trying to be the good one because my brother was always such a fuck up and not ever getting any attention or recognition for it. This is like the culmination of what I've been trying to achieve for most of my life. To have my mom be proud of me. For as crappy as she has been (and I have been also in my turn), to have you pick at something so banal as her using "LOL" makes me want to cry. She's my mom, and I love her. :(
