If you're working a night shift and going to sleep in the afternoon, dizzyness and aching could possibly be from dehydration. Perhaps drink a decent sized glass of water before going to sleep, and also have a bottle handy with you beside your bed so you can have some more to drink if you're thirsty.

Just a suggestion. Try sipping some water slowly when you wake up feeling that way, if the aches and dizziness clear quickly, it's a good sign you're not getting enough fluids.
