Okay, it's Sunday morning, not much after 7am and they've start digging the road up outside my house. Pneumatic drills, hammer, the whole package. Add to this the heat (for the UK anything over 12 degees C constitutes high summer, remember?)  which is making sleeping difficult and the fact that with my *lycanthropy problem, I can no longer tolerate
