Sort-of-not-really continuation from the Bianca Reyes Mother's day post here.
FYI, newsarama has posted a list of best and worst comic book dads. Mr. Reyes isn't on it (unfortunately) but it's still pretty interesting and relevant.
Late post but that's okay because Mr. Reyes is worth the wait and is still my favorite dad in the DCU.
In Blue Beetle #3, Jaime tells his family about his powers for the first time after a year of being missing. I really love this scene for so many reasons--one of them being Jaime actually TELLS his loved ones that he's a superhero.
In BB #9, Mr. Reyes owns Peacemaker. I didn't feel like cropping it. DEAL.
This scan was in the Mrs. Reyes post as well but it's a classic scene.
From BB #13. Jaime is such a good soon.
BB #17. Very nice scene from one of my favorite issues.
BB #21. John Rogers didn't write this but it's not bad. A little cheesy and predictable BUT that's okay because Jaime's dad is still super. Luis is the one who got Mr. Reyes in the cane, ps.
From BB#22, 'Berto sticks it to La Dama.
BB#23, also posted in the mom post but look at how well Jaime listens to his dad ;)
BB#24. In which Jaime's dad is a badass.
