And I hear you about the HEAT! Damn it back to hell! I have a job interview at 1:30 and I'm leaving three hours early so I can stand at the bus stop in my black interview outfit without keeling over. Yiiiiiikes.

Babe, I hear you! This is one of the icks of the South/South East living - heat, humidity & bugs. Thought of you as we drove through Raleigh.

As always, the weather was good in Asheville. Hot - but not humid. Breathable because of the trees. There's shade almost everywhere.

Good luck on the job interview. Try to stay cool. I sometimes keep a fan in my purse, just in case.

Thanks! I think I did well. And I've seen Asheville, it's lovely. Raleigh has plenty of trees, too, but it's more of a JUNGLE type atmosphere than a stately, cool oak grove, lemme tell you. I can't wait until Autumn.

Thank you. We were very pleased with it when it boils right down to it. I'm glad to see he's so well taken care of. We'll visit again as soon as we can. Hope we'll be able to stay longer.

I'm glad you had a good visit, dear. I hope you'll be able to stay a bit longer the next time. The weather here in central Texas is pretty hot & muggy too--upper 90's/low 100's every day. Thank goodness for air conditioning!
