Hm. Last UTI I had, they started with Keflex, then gave me cipro when I came up allergic to it. That was over 2 years ago and I do remember taking multiple daily doses and having it work. I really, really hope that I manage to never get another one because I don't want to play with Macrobid and risk chest pain again.
If I had really been thinking, it would have never gotten this far. I kept sort of telling myself I'd be better about doing all the things that make UTIs go away on their own (e.g. lots of water, peeing more often) and didn't go to the doctor because I was fine until I got to Boston, where I don't have a doctor. It just degenerated. Oops. Now I know!
