Was the wolf actually a stout white and grey husky? If so I likely know who it was.

Nope, thin fellow of medium height. Wasn't Wolfus or Graystone or Shortwave. :)

Don't know who Wolfus is, and assumed nobody could be mistaken for Graystone, but it sounds like something Shortwave would do, and he recently got his head refurred.
