I remember getting this sort of stuff when I was 14, in bed with similarly high fever.
I can't say I remember what "dreams" I had, but according to my mom, I was talking up a storm of non-sensical stuff.

Ah, the joys of the brain.
*gives you toast* Would you happen to have any... butter?

I had con crud as well... And I didn't even make it there this year! Although I didn't have hallucinations, my dreams were as vivid... ^_^

Con Crud isn't different. Fever dreams get MUCH stranger when you realize what's happening and start lucid fever deaming. Because the lucid control is coming from the same fevered brain, so it cycles in on itself.

And you're not really asleep for those short fever dreams. It's something between daydreams and hypnosis, because the dreams are not coming by way of the normal night-dreaming mechanism. If you overheat the brain by a few degrees, it hallucinates.

Maybe you should bottle your sweat. Perhaps there are some residual effects that get trapped. That's it! You could become one of those toads that kids lick to get high! Even if it doesn't work, you get people to lick you. Well...more than usual. ;o)
