 Gay marriage was overturned yesterday in Maine. I really can't believe it. I'm... saddened isn't the right word. I'm horrified and ashamed that my home state could be so manipulated by fear that they'd deny others such a basic right. The Maine I always think of from my childhood may not have always been open minded or liberal, but they always let

And the best part is we have the Catholic Church, and a slew of out-of-state organizations to thank. You should have tried living here the last few months... EVERY fuckin ad on tv was about question one... and most of them were so full of ridiculous lies to get people to vote yes it was sad.
