I liked how Protective Arthur is of Merlin and I definitely think he is feeling more than friendship for Merlin.

Oh yes, definitely! He's just unsure how to express himself. We all know Arthur has difficulty with that because of his family life and what is supposed to be proper for someone from his background.

Arthur being angry on Merlin's behalf is actually quite lovely. He'd protect Merlin if he could, but he doesn't go to the same school and, really, what can he do outside being there for Merlin? Will is quite lovely in his gruff, pushy way.

Yes, you're right. All Arthur can really do is be there and Merlin isn't likely to bring it up because he's uncomfortable talking about those sorts of things. Will cares too and it's hard for him because he thinks Arthur is also mistreating Merlin. I feel a little sorry for Will, he just wants to help.

It's quite fun to write Merlin! I'm glad you're enjoying it :)

Aw thank you! I hope you enjoy the next bit as well! Morgana will appear in a chapter or two, I think. I'm still writing chapter 4 so I'm not quite positive when exactly she will appear.
