THis was very sweet. I liked how they interacted with each other and the banter was just right. I feel badly that Merlin changed his topic, though. I have a degree in anthropology and had to get another in chemistry to make any money - but that's fanfic for you.

Thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it. As I was writing (and planning for the sequel) I realised I had to change his topic if I wanted the sequel to go where I wanted. I'm working on my PhD in anthropology and I needed to write something I know (maybe that's a cop-out :( sorry!). I have plans, though, trust me! I know we don't make tons of money in this discipline, especially if my PhD bursary is anything to go by...I thought maybe your degree was archaeology based off your LJ name?
