Aha! Bayard is going to lure Merlin away from Camelot! But methinks not from Arthur...at least not entirely ;-)

I like that Arthur is giving Merlin the opportunity to go to Mercia even though he really wants to keep him for himself. Of course, he should fire Edwin and hire Merlin in his place, but I guess that's not going to happen!

I like the slowly developing sexual tension between these two. It makes me eager for more!

Arthur definitely doesn't want Merlin to go! He likes Merlin much more than he is willing to admit. Of course, his conscience won't let him keep the information from Merlin so he's sort of kicking himself in the pants. Heh.

I hope to have more posted soon! I really hope you'll like the next part as soon as I have it up. I'm doing my best with the sexual tension, glad it's coming across!

I mean, it's nice of Arthur to have Merlin's best interest at heart, but I wish he'd just fire Edwin!
