So I have had an interest in making chainmail jewelry for quite sometime now but never really had the time, money etc to do much with it......well that has all changed and now I can actually do it. This is a picture of my first two bracelets, though the top one may get some beads added to it in the long run. I am going to try some other weaves as ( Read more... )

The top one took about 30 minutes or less and the bottom one took roughly 12 hours I would say

If I added the beaded accents to the top one it will probably take about another hour or so.

thanks, yeah I have to do the 2nd one in stages...not sure I could do it all in one sitting but it is a nice distraction.

Those look nice! I can't tell from the picture-- are they brass?
One of my room mates makes stuff like that occasionally. Chainmail link necklaces are pretty popular for nero up here.

Those are actually aluminum but some of the new links I am getting are brass. I want to try some of them with two different types...also getting some that are nickel plated - should be interesting
