Set your music on random, post the first line of each song that comes up for the first 20 songs, then let friends guess the name of the song and the artist. No cheating by looking them up online. Strike each song out as when it is guessed right.

Phil made my Highliters cds back when he was a senior, so everything I have is from whatever popular artist may have sung it, not the actual version we sang. Though he did manage to get a couple songs I really wasn't expecting him to find, so I can't complain...and I requested certain artists for some of them anyway.

Yeah, I was thinking that too...that if you were ever the first person to see my lists you'd probably get half of them. But you always provide a redeeming factor for the masses too. When there are any songs that I start to wonder who might possibly get them, I think "there's still hope; Johanna hasn't guessed yet and she's got a wide range of taste like me, so maybe SHE'LL get that hard one." Jars of Clay almost always ends up on here (go figure, since I"ve got a ton of their stuff), and I usually peg you for those songs. And I figured you'd be the only one to get 15, if anyone did. You've got 8 points so far. Kat got #7. And are you guessing that 14 is one of the soundtracks then? I never said you have to know the answer to get the extra points, you just have to guess which ones are the soundtracks and the Guitar Hero ones. No, it's not from Newsies.

1 is One by Metallica, which you likely got off the GH3 soundtrack.

14 is Making Christmas from the Nightmare Before Christmas. That one is really hard because there's not much to go by.

17 is Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand, which is in GH1. (I knew it before GH1, however.)

Knew a few of the others, but as is usual, I'm slow to keep up with blogs and missed the action.

Good try for guessing 1 being on the soundtrack (which I completely forgot about) but it's not. I actually got that from a Metallica cd (I even checked to make sure).

You get 6 points for guessing the songs and artist, another 2 for knowing 1 and 17 are Guitar Hero, and I'll give you an extra half a point since you didn't actually say that 14 is a soundtrack, but it's kinda implied...and it is kinda hard to get from what little I was able to give you.

So you've got 8.5 points, which I think puts you in first.
