This weekend felt very productive.  On Saturday, I got in an eight mile bike ride.  I biked to the Seward Coop, stopped by the CSA fair, and signed up again this year for Featherstone CSA .  (Well, actually,  Read more... )

Someone (you?) told me about Morris Dancing at dawn on Friday. Do you know if that is still on? and I think I found something about it being at 36th and West River Parkway? I usually bike by there if I bike to work - so I thought I might stop by if it's still on. (and I can get myself out of bed a little earlier...) Thanks for any info!

Yes, it is still on. The dancing starts at 6:02 a.m. and continues for about an hour or so. And then we go to breakfast, and dance around town for the rest of the day.

It would be great to see you!

You were fantastic! I loved your reversable vest. Is that just you? or is that something dancers often do?

It was a lovely way to celebrate Beltane. Thanks so much for the info!

The reversable vests started when Uptown had several members on other teams. So, Steve, on Uptown, started sewing vests with the other team's fabric on the reverse. When we all redid our vests, we were asked to choose a fabric for the inside. Now, my inside fabric is my vest for Ad Hoc Ad Lib Morris Dance and Literary Society (grin).

Glad you had fun.
