I before I read the post I was, "NICE! LOVE the use of colors." You do have a feel for colors. I also like the "movement" or flow - as if I am an art critic. Abstracts have movement. =) Nice job. Keep painting!

Wow. This is the best, most meaningful feedback I've ever gotten on my art.

I did not realize that abstracts have movement; that is just what naturally comes out through my brush.

I have another painting that I did for my brother and his gf that I'm waiting for them to scan in so I can post it. It's roughly a tulip or tulip-like flower. What I liked about it is that even though it's a straighforward, recognizeable flower, the flower has movement, like it's being pushed by the wind. :)

I really like movement and lots of texture in my paintings.

I'd be interested to hear what you think of the texture in Unity or Love as a Rose.

Main Street Arts fest?

Hey, are you going to the Main Street Arts Fest? I really want to go now that I'm doing more art and posting it and getting feedback on it.

I have another one I did years ago, very much in a trance light state that I'd love to show you, but I don't want to put it online. Too special.

Hee. That's what I love about abstract expressionism; everyone sees something diff! It's meant to be his claw, but I can see the mane bit now that you mention it. :)

I finally finished the one for Zort. I hope to get it in the mail today so that she can see it and love it and then I can put it on my page! I hope. :)

i don't really collect art. i buy posters. :D well, i buy comic book art, sort of - i have some original pages and an uncolored cover - and, like, architectural posters. i love me some buildings.
