Wow. All of that is so inspirational. I have been working at (and accomplishing) weight loss for some time now, but the steady exercise is still an issue for me (even though I *know* that's the only way to really get it off and keep it off). Bravo and many kudoes on all the hard work!!!
You might consider starting a log like me and posting it. ?Even just 5 min of exercise a day to start with can build up. I think it's much easier to add just another min or another rep if I take the pressure off myself and start low. If you notice, I started off much slower than I'm going now.
Also, making a public posting helps to keep me on target; it's very motivating in a good way.
Guess what I've done? Give up? 'Cause I know you're never going to guess I'll go ahead and tell you. :-)
You know how I started walking once a week with a neighbor just a month ago? Well, Saturday I started a challenge I found on MapMyWalk.com. Within 30 consecutive days you pledge to walk the length of a marathon (26.2 miles). You don't have to walk every day, but you do have to complete the 26.2 mile length within thirty consecutive days from your start date. Day 1 I walked 1.5 miles in 34 minutes. Day 2 (Sunday) I walked two 1.5 mile laps = 3 miles total. So I'm already 18% along in my goal. W00t! You can keep up with it at Facebook. The MapMyWalk.com has an interface so it can post updates on my profile page.

I went and walked for 40 minutes in the neighborhood with a neighbor Tuesday evening. And we're going to try and walk together one day a week.
