I'm always on the lookout for Mentalist fics, Jane/Cho specifically, so I was happy to find this. After reading it I am happier still. This is a great story. I will be checking your journal regularly from now on! Thank you for sharing this. :)
Wow, thanks! I'm glad you like it. Any particular fav bits?
My friend, the evil SB, who makes such lovely (and loverly) vids, especially her Cho/Jane ones, challenged me to write a sequel to this.
And I DID. Guh. It's all written and edited and huh, guess I should post it, yes? ;)
Talk about 0-60. My head is still spinning that after years of not writing, I've written AND finished two stories! And I have a third epilogue sort of piece halfway planned for it.
Behold the power of Jane/Cho! :-p
Oh and I have an earlier post from last week or so with all the Jane/Cho and Cho-centric links I've found, including the link to SB's "Oh Jane!" vid ;)
Wow, favorite bits? Hard to define. The most powerful would be the way Cho was squeezing then releasing Jane's hand. I got the image of Cho subconsciously trying to will Jane's body to pick up the rhythm
( ... )
I am so glad I read this fic-- it's wonderful! :D I love this, seriously.
What I loved about it: -Everyone was completely in character -Jane got to see his wife and daughter and they helped him move on -As in the TV series, most of Cho's smiles and more intense feelings center around Jane
That was sweet. I like how Cho was willing to be Jane's hand to hold. I also liked the irony of Jane, who's got to be totally skeptical of any afterlife, getting advice from his deceased wife and daughter.

So, what do you think of the final posted version?
